well if he does not give a fuck to bad, but people express their emotions in different ways when watching a show he just may not be as expressive as some of the others when it comes to comedy shows.
One Punch Man is great but it's just a parody, Mob Psycho is an actual story with actual characters. Mob and Saitama are actually very different despite everything thinking they're the same, but they are both very op characters, that's it.

What's changed? The episode was about his emotional/psychological change. We've already been introduced to psychic power's being suppressed by emotions or psychology.
