You need to watch the Five-ish Doctors before you move on from 50th themed content!

G
General Sass · April 23, 2019

No, unfortunately, because Twelve showed up, it essentially de-syncs Eleven's timeline too.

D
D.L.Ryder · April 19, 2019

I <3 <3 Classic Whovians!

A
Aidan Raffle · April 19, 2019

Five-ish Doctors, please! They'd get a real kick out of it, plus it has more guest appearances that they'd like.

A
Adam C Turek · April 18, 2019

don't suppose you might ever watch "The Five-ish Doctors"? made specifically for the 50th Anniversary? a short film featuring the remaining living actors that played the Doctor trying to hijack the production of the 50th anniversary so they can be in it - has a TONNE of guest stars i know you will all recognise

P
Paul Hayes · April 18, 2019

I'm really not sure those are special trousers, by the way. Baker had various different ones throughout his time as the Doctor.

O
Oliver Frost-Townsend · April 18, 2019

great reaction guys. ever since you started doctor who been waiting two years from tomorrow i believe for this reaction hahaha! and with Eccleston he got blacklisted from the BBC for 12 years as he signed a 2-3 series contract and he left during the first series as he didn't get along with one of the main cast members. he went to america and did movies, TV shows and a few shows for ITV over here in Britain. He came back to the BBC in 2018 for a show and a few theatre stuff since. a year or so ago he looked back on his time on Doctor who and enjoyed it and wished he did more, but wasn't in the 50th as that was during the time he was blacklisted. That's the story of Eccleston. keep up the great work guys, im a big fan :)

Ism Zam · April 18, 2019

No, they asked him. He said no.

T
TbcAlex · April 18, 2019

It’s on their website

H
Haider Bhatti · April 18, 2019

You guys didn’t react to the five doctor ish special

L
LitLThomas · April 18, 2019

Reacting to it before would have spoilt the return of Tennant. But I heard they're not going to react to it, which is a really big shame. Easily one of the best things Doctor Who ever put out.

P
Paul Hayes · April 18, 2019

The thing you have to remember about the opening credits is the context in which this was originally made and shown. Hardly *anyone* was going into this blind at the time - this was a massive, hugely-publicised event, the No. 1 most-watched programme on all British television that week, and the returns of Tennant and Piper were a major part of the publicity for that. It's a bit like asking, "Why did they put Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford on the poster for The Force Awakens?"

H
Hercule Pyro · April 18, 2019

Now to hope that they react to 5(ish) doctors.

J
James Dougherty · April 18, 2019

It's okay Calvin I had a very similar reaction when I heard Tom's voice! It pretty much cemented this episode as my favorite of the modern era!!!

J
Julie Nichols · April 18, 2019

I have been waiting for Calvin's reaction to this one!!!

B
Brian Barnes · April 18, 2019

It really is the Day of the Doctor! Today is David Tennant’s birthday!

A
Alyssa Gillespie · April 18, 2019

Day of the Doctor was the first episode I watched when it actually aired, I had binged most of New Who in about 2/3 weeks over the summer leading up to it. So special. And now next week, sadness 😭

T
Thomas · April 18, 2019

Just thought you should know, the shot of the policeman walking in black and white at the beginning is the same as the first ever episode in 1963.

B
BooBooKitty · April 17, 2019

omg i am so happy we are on day of the doctor !!! this is one of the best ever !

G
Glynn Rockwell · April 17, 2019

Great watching this again with your reactions! I love the The 4th doctor being the curator at the end. I wonder who gave Osgood that scarf eh? ;)

T
The Doctor · April 17, 2019

Those were attack eyebrows, you could take bottle-tops off with those. So hyped for what comes next but I gotta throw it out there and agree with all the others, you guys would really get a kick out of the five(ish) doctors reboot.

B
Brodie Vickers · April 17, 2019

I've been waiting a long time for this one, so worth it.

C
Carmen Young · April 17, 2019

Calvin crying always makes me cry 😭 Totally loved watching his reaction to the 4th Doctor though! I was waiting for it ❤️

G
Greg Schuster · April 17, 2019

Anyone know if this sync's well with the video available on Amazon Prime? Sometimes specials desync... I can't watch till after work tonight, but it would make my day if this episode would sync up

F
Firefly24601 · April 17, 2019

They sync just fine, even with the edits to the opening credits.

M
Mauricio Ramirez · April 17, 2019

Is there a full reaction link?

M
Mark McKeown · April 17, 2019

On the website if you're on $10

L
Leah Tumilty · April 17, 2019

Oh poor Calvin! 😭

A
Alex Robinson · April 17, 2019

I'm assuming any doubts of 11 or 12 not remembering due to crossed time streams can be resolved with the fact Clara was there so she can just tell him it happened.

M
Matthew Rodkey · April 17, 2019

I don't think 11 and 12 interacted, but I think 12 remembered the general's line and knew he was supposed to be there. And it's assumed in Deep Breath when he leaves and comes back, that's where he went.

W
Will · April 17, 2019

I don't think there's a specific offence prohibiting changing lane in a tunnel. :D I'm focusing on the important stuff as usual.

T
Tone · April 17, 2019

In America, most tunnels have big signs at the entrances "Stay In Lane." Otherwise a single solid white line (as seen in the tunnel in the episode) "is intended to discourage, but not prohibit you from changing lanes." Of course the laws could certainly be different in the UK, just going based on what Calvin would have seen in the US.

O
Opti_Frog · April 17, 2019

Phew! Worth the wait. "I don't want it to be over."

D
Dangall95 · April 17, 2019

Loved your reactions as always. :) Can't wait for next week.

S
Simply.Beyond · April 17, 2019

LOVE this episode! BUT it also means is Time Of The Doctor next 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

M
Marek Vereš · April 17, 2019

Great reaction! :D And next week... here we go again!

N
Nathan Oneill · April 17, 2019

You can just see the flashbacks to his childhood watching the Fourth Doctor on screen again in Calvin's eyes. Love how hyped Eric was at certain points.

M
MattillaTheHun · April 17, 2019

Watching this on the website, it's going sooooo much faster than my DVD. So even when I get it synced up, they drop out of sync really quickly. Anyone know how to fix that? Do I have to watch the Blu-Ray version, or the streaming version?

M
MattillaTheHun · April 17, 2019

Sorry, forgot to mention this is in regards to the FL.

L
Laura_Ali · April 17, 2019

I keep replaying the part where Calvin realises the voice is Tom Baker, it's such a pure reaction.

-
-Skinner- · April 17, 2019

Amazing reaction guys. Excited for Capaldi.

o
o · April 17, 2019

I would love for people to weigh in on this. I always thought that the reason that the moment chose that form (Rose/BadWolf) was because of what Rose did as "BadWolf Girl" scattering her essence across all time and space as a clue and that was what allowed them to enter what was supposed to be "TimeLocked"

B
Bekah · April 17, 2019

I was SO excited for the guys to get to this episode, and you all did NOT disappoint!

M
Michael · April 17, 2019

And now it's time for one last bow.... like all your other selves.... Elevens hour is over now.... the clock is striking Twelve.

h
harveydent · April 17, 2019

They watched the original "Five Doctors" special so I'm sure they'll enjoy the "Five-ish" one

W
Will · April 17, 2019

Thirded!

T
Trey Moore · April 17, 2019

Totally request a reaction for The Five(ish) Doctors!! There’s probably a lot of Easter eggs the guys wouldn’t get, but there’s still a lot of great material they would love!

W
Will · April 17, 2019

Seconded!

D
Dannielle · April 17, 2019

"No sir, all Thirteen" and then Capaldi's magnificent eyebrows appear. Chills every time!

M
Michael · April 17, 2019

I watched this in the Cinema, was such an amazing episode to watch among fans.

A
Adele · April 17, 2019

I did too! I loved the little intro we get at the cinema too.

J
Jackson · April 17, 2019

How do the $10 patrons watch the long-form reactions? Are they on the website?

T
TbcAlex · April 17, 2019

Yes, and on their Google Drive

D
Denzil · April 17, 2019

I wonder if Calvin knows Tom Baker is still alive

D
Doug C · April 17, 2019

I was kind of hoping that among the episode trivia you'd mention that the week after this aired on TV (or the week of?) it was shown in theaters in 3D. Mostly for those paintings which had amazing 3D effects. But more importantly, the theatrical release had an introduction by Strax warning the puny humans of earth to disable their communication devices, etc. That intro may be worth watching since I know you all love Strax. (Search for "Day of the Doctor theatrical intro" and you'll find it easily.)

G
Gaimar · April 17, 2019

The Time War looked great in 3D as well.

c
cesar · April 17, 2019

After waiting seven seasons to watch you react to this episode and the next, is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A
Alan Collings · April 17, 2019

Best Doctor who film because it has that kind of run time. Perfect for 50 year special. Now 56 years. :D

S
Sophia Dashwood · April 17, 2019

Are you guys going to react to The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot?

o
o · April 17, 2019

I am so jealous of where they are right now, it was so bitter when I was watching it with our fandom, they are enjoying this the way it was meant to be enjoyed.......

E
Ethan wyles · April 17, 2019

I LOVE THE EDITOR!!!!! 😂😂😂😂

S
Stormageddon Thomason · April 17, 2019

THE DAY IS HERE

N
Nick Earl · April 17, 2019

Full length isnt working for me :(

J
JojoInSpace · April 17, 2019

It's on the drive, should be up on the website shortly. :)

D
Doby Greg · April 17, 2019

Great!!!!!Have been refreshing half an hour. The fire quote is great. War should be an older 8th so Capaldi could be the proper 13th. And I would prefer if 11th was correcting a mistake rather than never have made one. But any problem I have cannot deny how great an achievement this episode is. I get hype everytime watching it. Hurt makes for a perfect encapsulation of the old who confronting the new who and I dare say it works better than simply having 9th there. I'm glad to see how emotional the guys got at times.

J
Joel Foster · April 17, 2019

finally!!!

B
Blind Wave · April 17, 2019

FULL LENGTH Reaction is still processing. It should be up in about 45 mins from this post. I just didn't want to wait any longer to upload the Main Video. Enjoy everyone! Thanks to Lono for his great edit to get all our big reaction moments in one 10 minute highlight! - Eric

c
charlie · April 17, 2019

Aaah I’m still at work! Can’t wait to watch this when I get home!

T
