Can't wait to see their reactions for the next two eps!! Thursdays can't come fast enough!
next episode... whoo boy!
It’s their first watch Manga & spoiler free. As frustrating as it is to see them miss the little clues, it’s understandable. Let them continue to enjoy their watch. Season 3 will clear up a lot for them I think.
I get why some commenters are upset or disappointed with the crew this episode. Without the benefit of hindsight, most of us were still able to piece together some fairly obvious theories and reveals from this episode on our first time around. And we watch the show for fun. In a rather literal sense, our boys watch this show and discuss it for fun, but are also paid to do so, which would - idk - further incentivize them to pay attention? Not to say they need to be perfect and on track all the time, and I do enjoy their genuine reactions and them not having read ahead, but... I mean, I get why OTHERS are upset. Hopefully things have sunk in for them by the next episode and they find their footing and enjoy the show even more in the future.
Having to talk while watching makes you miss some stuff. Also, when I watch it for myself, I can stop and go back immediatly to analyze. Furthermore, most reactions I have seen, have not noticed it. In addition to that, a lot of people only noticed it, because they read ahead so...
Is there no thumbnail on the video?
LOL told you this show will piss you off haha.
next week oh man shit goes down!!
Guys the commercial panels mention Ymir's town is outside the wall. But even without it, it's kinda obvious IMO.
If you want answers (and I am not only talking about the titan light) I suggest rewatching this episode, maybe even more than once. This episode actually gave me a LOT of answers or alteast very important hints that will help you solve the mystery. This is why I think this show is so fun, not only because of the action, but each reveal is another important piece of the puzzle that you have to put together in order to figure out the story. Anyway, I don't mean all this in a bad way, I am just simply recommending to rewatch this episode, it will help ;)
Sry but I wanna add on some things. My guess is why people react that way in the comments is because just like me people may be a little disappointed in your reaction and the discussion. We were expecting more from you guys. You keep asking for answers but in this episode you literally get some major answers (and yes even without hindsight you are able to figure some things out, maybe you can't figure it out fully but this is as much as you get in this show, you definitely can get way more out of this than what you have discussed is basically what I am trying to say, lol) TL;DR Kinda weak discussion/reaction to an important and beautiful episode, people expected more and therefore are disappointed. EDIT: and by weak discussion i mean that they didn't talk much about some key moments that occured during this episode, but it's alright I am gonna keep watching and enjoying obviously
They don't even read comments, stop complaining about childish things.
Wow commenters, you guys are so smart. Im so proud of all of you. Keep it up!
They were injected with something then when they hit the ground they transformed into Titans. They weren't thrown into a fire. I understand how it's hard to understand what the hell is going on in this show. They give very little answers in this season. Also Rick is right, it was just a random cult that adopted Ymir as their queen or whatever.
How to easily spot someone who didn't watch he discussion
Damn... the answers just flew over their heads...
Rick was on point, Ymir was injected with something, and then pushed off the wall, next thing you knew there was a flash of light. This was one of those episodes where you should have been paying CLOSE attention, I reccomend rewatching it.
Hey guys, love the reaction, but you guys lost a lot of plot points this episode, I recommend watching it again on your own time if you can. There’re more answers in this then you think. Also, pay attention to the halftime info card, it’s important ; )
Yea i know after this episode i figured out a lot i hope they get to rewatch this whole 2nd season
Does anyone know if their website is having issues? This is the first time their website has not let me watch early access videos, even though I am a paying patreon. And it is with every early access video, I had no trouble as early as two day ago.
Not sure if you noticed yet but that's why TbcAlex usually posts the vimeo link in the comments here. Their website seems to have issues with the patreon syncing on and off since it became a thing. I've personally only run into this issue once and that was a while ago.
People need to stop saying shit like "they really should've noticed X". There were no obvious reveals this episode, and anyone who says otherwise is doing so with the benefit of hindsight.
So you're saying they were not supposed to get that the yellow light was someone transforming into a titan?
I think they are too focused on looking fro answers that they are missing not only clues that can aid in that fact but fairly obvious things.
they are still clueless lol
I thought these guys would catch on to at least some things, but they are totally off point
I was thinking the same thing
