The Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is absolutely relevant to Chemistry. The limit to the number of known factors we can know about a particle usually refers to electrons. Because electrons are so small, we can know either exactly where an electron is, or exactly how fast it is moving, but we cannot know both. The more we know about one variable, the less we know about the other. It is also symbolic in the show, but I won't get into that. Let's just say there is a LOT of foreshadowing in this show, from the very beginning, all the way up to the end.
