My favorite Karen Gillan episode. She really does a fantastic job playing the older bitter version of Amy, and also as the younger Amy sharing her love of Rory, "the most beautiful man I have ever met".

This is one of my favorite episodes of the 11th Doctor's era. Episodes like this and Water of Mars where you get to see some more shades of grey in the Doctor make his character even more interesting.

I really like this episode. Shows how hard the doctor can be, how kind Rory is and is just an all around great concept.

It's that very last line that gets me - when she wakes up and asks 'where is she?' and finds out that the Doctor and Rory locked her out of the Tardis...

I reckon Amy 'loves the alien', but loves the human more.

Not a fan of Moffat’s run, but this episode was good.

THIS EPISODE FUCKED ME UP. This is the episode that made me a hardcore Amy/Rory shipper. People love to talk about Rory waiting 2000 years, but Amy essentially gave up her entire current life and future for him in this episode. I always thought she didn’t want to be saved because younger Amy trusted the Doctor. She hated the doctor leaving her and I think she knew her younger self would not remember anything and just whisk off away with him again. I cried so much at the final Amy/Rory scene in the Tardis. I love them so much :(
