Shane might recognise Helen McCrory who plays Polly from Harry Potter (she played Narcissa Malfoy) or perhaps Penny Dreadful. She's also married to Damian Lewis (eg. Captain Winters!)
She recently appeared in a doctor who episode they reacted to . I'm guessing that's where because he didn't recognise her when he watched that.

Liverpool? Irish? London? 'Heath?? It's set in Birmingham, England's 'second city' - which back them was a centre of light engineering and manufacturing - motorbikes, bicycles, small-arms (all made by the BSA Co.) and jewellery, etc. Heath might be referring to 'Small Heath', which is a suburb of 'Brum. The Shelby's are probably of Irish ancestry, given they seem to be Catholic. Also, it's set immediately after WW1 - in 1919.
It’s silly and he couldn’t have known except for the title card of the setting but as a Brit it’s annoying Shane kept saying it was London, the strong Brummie accents was a good clue, would’ve taken over five hours to get to London a hundred years ago
Most people outside of the UK don't seem to know any English accents outside of London and the South East. I was visiting family in New England last year and constantly had people asking what my accent was (I'm from the North West)

The version of red right hand is the original. Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds. Also the Peaky Blinders were a gang from Birmingham. Romany gypsy based. Though they were no where near like this in real life.
Well P.T. Barnum was portrayed differently in The Greatest Showman, it was still an enjoyable movie, despite the wrong facts. Lol

Also they’re English not Irish and they were called the pesky blinders due to the blades they used in their caps to slash people’s eyes
