Firefly 1x14 Finale Reaction Early Access!

Interesting/funny side note, if you watch Castle, there are some Firefly references in there. Hell, there's a whole episode that takes pot-shots at the show. All in good fun, of course. :P

Hey, don't know if anyone else has brought it up but you guys should react to the "R. Tam Sessions" feature from the Serenity DVD, preferably before the movie if possible. It's only about 8 minutes but it's an interesting extra bit of story showing River's time at the academy before the series started.

I -Can't- wait until next week when he watched serenity. I'mma have to rewatch it right now as a nightcap

People, my wife included, wonder why this is still clung to so vehemently by fans and after your reaction I still maintain that the reason is simple. It was so brilliantly good and so many possible stories to be told and was cut so very very short (even considering the movie) that is could be easily considered no less than a tragedy to the fiction/sci-fi genre as a whole. The comics and novels are a nice filler, but we just needed a little more... two full seasons, maybe even three? If the quality maintained, then it would never capture the full scope of this universe, but at least we could say it had a good run... at least we could say it had a chance. That being said, even though I love these actors... this is once show that I would gladly reboot for that possibility to tell more stories in that universe. A retelling could never do what the old crew achieved but maybe they could do some justice to that world... and mostly, keep Serenity flyin'.

Oh I can't wait for the reaction to the movie... but 10minutes is so little!

The show ran half a season. Would have been another 8-10 episodes to season one. Joss Wheden said the movie was season 2 condensed.

And as to the midget arsonist, that story was already published. Look up GoT and a character named "Tyrion." :D

To answer a question, yes star wars sci fi was in the Firefly universe. Yeah Firefly aired the year Buffy was in it's final season. You know, Buffy that Joss Whedon show apparently none of you have seen. It would be so great if you guys would watch it. I know you'd all love it since you like well-written, character driven shows that give you a lot to discuss. Please?

Just gonna say thank you guys for doing this series, I remember being so hyped when fox announced it that I waited till 1 am just to watch the first episode, but once I heard it got cancelled I got depressed and stopped watching. That was until I saw you guys were reacting to it, I though this is my chance and now it has became my favorite series ever. Again thank you guys #FireBi
