Who could give a more rousing speech, Captain Flint or Ragnar Lothbrok?
Ragnar inspires, while Flint terrifies. Different kind of motivation, i think Ragnar's speeches would work better on me personally.
The Spanish fight so hard because if they surrender a ship their families won’t get compensation from what I remember. For those men out there they had to fight pirates for their families to get money. I love how Aaron is low key defends Eleanor. I love Vane, but I had no problems with her betraying him last season to get the girl to Flint. Vane has been screwing over Flint since season 1 and no way Flint was going to give him a warship for the girl. Vane killed her father. They just keep screwing each other over yet somehow end up back with each other despite knowing how bad they are for each other. I never really got upset at Eleanor over it.

i love the way they filmed flints face during that speech
This episode told me Elenor never has any interest but her own interest and that means using everyone she needs too. You know what Max is from day one but Elenor pretends to be fair an just and caring but in the end she is the true demise for all the men who love her.
