At some point (not sure when) I think it would be an extremely good idea for somebody to give the guys a rough family tree of the royal family. They aren't all direct brothers/sisters. Or simply point out to them that it's important to actually remember the vi, la, etc... in between their first and last names. For example Lelouch vi Britannia and Clovis la Britannia.
Wait what's the significance of the vi and la signify? I know it means related to the royal family but what's the relation to those two?
1. Science guy isn't related he's just a science guy 2. Clovis is the 3rd prince of britania literally meaning he is the 3rd male born. 3. Lelouch is 17th in line to the throne meaning he is behind 16 princes and princesses combined.
50 Episodes of greatness.
The first 2 are kind of strange. I think episode 3 is when the story really start to be more streamlined and straight and you start getting the true vibe of the show and you start to see the similiraties to death note.
Yea guys let's not clarify things for then until they are half way in and we're already told about it from the show because a lot of things get told about Lelouch past and his vision of the future of how he wants to take over Britannia

Exactly. There is a lot of world building within this show even as we get into the weeds of it they still world build. It pains me they seem to not be hearing what people are saying and stating their relationships but at the same time this is a dense show with a lot to keep track of.
from what I understood louluch is the seventeenth male heir and clovis is third heir, it means he has sixteen older brothers. southerland is the knightmare frame model same with the Lancalot and glasco. the holy britanna empire isn't the only superpower just the strongest.
He's the 11th Prince actually. Britannian inheritance doesn't seem to take into account gender. Also, the number doesn't just take into account birth order, but who their mothers are. The emperor has multiple wives, who are ranked. As the son of the 5th Consort, Lelouch comes before any son of the 6th or higher wife, even if they're older.

Waaaay to much episodes. You will notice most shows they catch up to have season of 10-13 episodes. Even Vikings only got more in season 5 were they are up to date.
