Just wondering if there is a full length for this? I don't see it anywhere, thanks!

This is an amazing movie and I loved every second of this FL reaction The only flaw to this movie IMO is the "he's half human" bit, BUT, the lie I tell myself to fix it is that the Doctor had human medicine used on him while he was attempting to regenerate, so I guess maybe it mixed his DNA with human, making him half Timelord, half Human. And him saying "on my mother's side", is another of the Doctor's lies, I guess that's my totally bs headcanon but it helps

M
Martin Wiggan · May 18, 2018

my head canon is that the doctor wants to appear more human so that's why the master thinks the doctor is half human and the human on my mother's side is just a lie or a joke.

K
Krystal · May 17, 2018

I don't care what happens, PLEASE just show the episodes with the master again! He/spoiler is my favorite character!

I
IrishNexus · May 17, 2018

Can you remove that spoiler bit? Even that being there makes it apparent what you're referring to

G
Greg Schuster · May 17, 2018

Anyone else going to get a new Doctor if you were going to Zack?

J
Jane Davies · May 17, 2018

Loved Paul Mcgann as the Doctor shame he didn't get a series but the audios are pretty cool. He also has awesome theme probably my favourite

W
Will · May 17, 2018

Not canon not canon not canon not canon! ;) Well, the 'half human' bit anyway. The Doctor was joking. Or spending a week being 'half human on his mother's side' or something.

This 1996 feature length television movie stands as the most expensive "Doctor Who" production ever made. At a cost of $4 million dollars, it was a success when it aired in Britain attracting 9 million viewers but failed in the US (where it needed to succeed) hence why a US financed series never followed and DW fans would have to wait nine more years before the show would officially resurface.

"So the Time War happened between 8th Doctor and 9th Doctor? Yes, Yes it did.

U
Uncle Bubba · May 16, 2018

This movie movie was made in 1996, with the plot taking place on New Years Eve 1999. And yes that is Eric Roberts playing The Master.

S
Spiderfrommars · May 16, 2018

Can’t see the full length yet...

S
Scott Archibald · May 16, 2018

Don't forgot that not everything in the movie is cannon.

A
Adar · May 16, 2018

...This thing... the Tardis, 7th and 8th doctors are the only good thing about this movie... The reason the master had all those powers was because he was dead and had preserved his life through another means... also THE DOCTOR IS NOT CONFIRMED TO BE HALF HUMAN.

I never watched Doctor Who when I was a kid, but I remember when this came on Fox. I think they advertised it heavily during The X-Files. I even taped it, but I don't think I watched it until years later on my VHS tape because I heard about Doctor Who.

S
StevenBrown · May 16, 2018

Cool Reaction, I loved this movie however there were many times we get to see the depth and size of the inside of the T.A.R.D.I.S. even in the old series.

H
Hunter Tober-McGivern · May 16, 2018

Is it okay if I skip this week? Never heard of this before and from some descriptions, it's nothing good

E
Evan!! · May 16, 2018

This was a very good reaction.

D
Daniel Parkinson · May 16, 2018

I remember being a tiny bit anxious for 21/12/2012 for some fucked up reason and then ended up sleeping trough midnight 😅😂

D
Dominic D · May 16, 2018

Uh oh, you can't start talking about Eight without getting into expanded Whoniverse stuff, very deadly.

B
Bryan Matola · May 16, 2018

Okay, now ignore literally everything that happened in this movie aside from Paul McGann being the 8th Doctor.

D
Don't Mock The Shocker · May 16, 2018

Man, first The Five Doctors and now the movie. Why couldn't they use one of these filler weeks for a classic Who story that's actually decent?

M
Martin Wiggan · May 16, 2018

well i want them to watch classic who episode "genesis of the daleks" because it has davros and sarah jane smith.

J
Joe Entwistle · May 16, 2018

The Doctor being half human is NOT canon, both before and after this movie the Doctor is fully Gallifreyan/Time Lord

J
Jay97 · May 16, 2018

Pretty much the only thing that is accepted as canon from this film is the fact a Time Lord has 12 regenerations and that the 8th doctor was Paul McGann. Please dear god forget everything else.

J
Jonathan Azares · May 16, 2018

"We've never gone this far into the TARDIS!" Just wait about 3 series from where they are now depending on schedule.

C
C. R. Enos · May 16, 2018

Yay! Totally forgot that they were going to watch the movie. I bought it a few months ago as it was going out of print and I must admit I enjoyed it quite a bit.

J
Jack Tevlin · May 16, 2018

This is what happens when the US had a grasp on Doctor Who.... Never again.

N
Nick Earl · May 16, 2018

We have another two filler episodes after this before it finally gets good in the last ten minutes of the Waters of Mars.

T
Thomas · May 16, 2018

Yeah one of Tennants best performances as The Doctor, along with all of them.

H
Hal · May 16, 2018

the “half human” stuff is never addressed in the show and most people ignore it lol. As for the 13 lives, that’s not necessarily true as the Master has stolen regenerations before and characters have also been given extra regens. Even though the film is technically canon, I’d count it more as.... semi-canon.

D
Daniel Parkinson · May 16, 2018

I’d say it’s fully canon, in my head I just treat the doctor as half human half gallifreyan before becoming a time lord with the untempered schism rituals

S
Scribbles · May 16, 2018

Just...as a note...the Doctor's not half-human. This movie screwed a lot of things up. That was just one in a long line of bullshit, like the goo snake thing, the whole "the Daleks put the Master on trial for the evil things he did and let the Doctor just come to Skaro and pick up his body without doing a damn thing to him, because the Daleks totally care about the evil things the Master did and are totally cool with the Doctor, amirite?" thing, etc. They were going to do even more stupid shit in the series itself, but thankfully this never got picked up by any US network, so they didn't have a chance to ruin anything else.

S
Scribbles · May 16, 2018

It also did badly (besides very few in the US knowing what the hell Doctor Who was) because some genius decided to air it at the exact same time slot as the episode of Roseanne where Dan had his big heart attack, so everyone was watching ABC, not FOX.

J
Jason Fisher · May 16, 2018

Are we really not getting the finale this week 😣😣

S
Sam Yarwood · May 16, 2018

The finale was last week

L
Lea Zoé · May 16, 2018

so happy about Eric bringing Jafar up and then quoting him!

S
Steven Griffin · May 16, 2018

Holy shit I had no idea this was coming, this is gonna be a very interesting reaction lol

C
Chronos · May 16, 2018

So is this the last time they will be watching filler for DW and TW?

D
Damian Bentley · May 16, 2018

yes Children of Earth tomorrow The Next Doctor next week

R
Rantingisalwaysfun · May 16, 2018

YESSSS

A
Abide · May 16, 2018

I tried to watch this movie beforehand but I couldn’t even get halfway through...
