I think Quentin, trying to play the Mayor card and failing because he has no real power as Mayor.

Hope its Rene, if not an ex-teammate that I have felt disconnected from since the Arrow-Breakup. If they want a slim or a cycled out cast members, you don't need to make them undesirable to watch.

With the amount of death flags I've seen on Lance, I could see him doing something this selfless. Also, Diggle has been a bit too involved in Oliver's activities in the public eye to vouch for him. Really, Lance makes the most sense.

I say Anatoly since he shows a sign of doubt that he has with Diez. He would be able to break him out since he is in Diez's inner circle.

I have really low expectations for Team Trust, but I feel like in this situation everyone's going to put aside their petty differences and just get our boy out of this situation.

You can definitely see anatoly’s redemption arc this episode, but also maybe black siren. It’s definitely going to be a former villain being redeemed

Quentin has been on Oliver’s side the whole season, so it has to be him.

Quentin. Because at the end of the day after the turbulent times they've gone through across six years, he's the only one (besides felicity) who is still in his corner. Quentin is now best bro/Pa(?)

I think it's Quentin Lance that'll be the first to help mainly because he is the mayor and is the only one who can actually pull some strings to get him a little bit of help. But it could be a couple of people getting together to try to figure out how to help.

It SHOULD be Diggle, but since most of the characters have been allergic to logic this season, it will probably be Rene.

I just want to be done with this stupid trial already it’s ruined the story enough already tbh. I hated that fbi lady and any hope of giving her an actual reason for being a hardass was ruined when she refused to do anything about Diaz taking over the whole freaking city lol

Was going to put digg but decided on Anatoly as I can see him helping Oliver after seeing a bit of distrust from him to Diaz in regards to fairness, plus he was going to get him out when he spoke to him whilst giving him the bandages I think.

It'll be Agent Watson. Sounds strange, but think about it. A few episodes ago, the DA admitted that he didn't really have a case against Oliver. The only reason this trial is happening is because Diaz corrupted the justice system. Watson wants Oliver in prison, but I think she'd also want him to have a fair trial.

John is his Best friend, they're almost like brothers, despite their disputes I think he'll always be first by his side.

Quentin doesn't have beef with Oliver and he's in the best position to help as the mayor, so him.

I have a feeling Rene might start to feel guilty in combination with his PTSD (also he might compare Zoe with William) and that he then not only apologize but also jumps into the defense for him

Quentin will probably be the first to try to do something as he is Mayor and will do what he can before Diaz threatens him to stop. It would be cool if he convinced Laurel to defend Oliver in court as part of their plan to fight back against Diaz.

Probably John because he’s the closest to all of them or Cutis cause they always meet up.
