Amazing intro guys! It would be a dream as a Brit dr who nerd to see my name in an intro like that! Awesome!
"It's not the Rhino People" hmm
Wilfred Mott is the best character
that inro is so sick !!!1#
Im so excited! Donna is my favorite companion :D
Love the new intro!
Eric pls do yourself and your viewers a favor and start a new series called secret diaries of a call girl.
oh no lol
i can't wait to the end of this season/series
there better be tears!
That intro though. Epic!
DOoooooooonnnnaaaaaaa!!! ahahhaahahah i love Dona Noble <3 she's so fun (imo) and i love her relationship with the Doctor cuz she never show him romantically ,they were true friends
Considering how they get caught up on the plot minutiae in a pretty conventional episode of DW, I am guessing we will have 4 hour reaction videos when they reach the Moffat era. I personally prefer Moffat era DW but he prioritised themes and emotion over story structure, which I liked but many on here don't. Blind Wave will be going over every plot hole in seasons 5-10 for days at a time!
Yeah, I guess. I don't think there are that many more plot holes per capita than the RTD era. I just think Moffat threw a lot more at the wall and it becomes harder to decipher. Part of why I think they'll enjoy the Moffat era more (aside from the fact that the production quality is night and day better) is they'll do the mental math to navigate the story. The more egregious elements of RTD's Who - building to something by saying a word over and over again and then resolving the problem in the last 5 minutes with some deus ex machina solution - makes way for a program that rewards speculation.
Loved the intro! Catherine Tate and David Tennant did a really funny skit for Red Nose Day before she became a companion that you might like to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxB1gB6K-2A&list=RDWxB1gB6K-2A&t=160
This is a great skit. I am so glad you placed a link to it. I hope the crew is able to see it. The Catherine Tate Show is one of my favorites sketch comedy/variety shows (along with Peep Show and the Chappelle show) and is one I rewatch when I am stuck at home with a cold or just need a good laugh. Thank you for sharing it!
That intro is so good! Donna is my favorite companion because the friendship between Catherine and David really translates well in their time together as Doctor and Companion. Plus, having the Doctor state that he wants (and needs) a friend is a great relief to me since the romance part of Doctor Who was getting pretty old for me at this time in New Who. Looking forward to seeing how you guys enjoy series four. It has one of my favorite episodes (next to Blink) and introduces one of my favorite characters.
This intro, oh my god, it's perfect ! :D
I think remember Calvin saying he only watched some of Tennent's run but has he finished it?
he did say 75% of tennant's run, and a couple of episodes of matt smith and one or two episode of capaldi.
*SPOILERS*The guys need to watch Genesis of the Daleks. It'll help explain this season's story arc.
The show does a fine job filling the audience in without it, I didn't see it til after journeys end and while it's a good story, it's not needed to enjoy the season. (Plus the breaks are a pain)
I love this season!! Midnight is 100% my favourite! I can’t wait to see your guy’s reaction to it!
yes! Midnight and Turn Left (all the references!)
I...I’m not ready for this season. It’s both my favorite season but I also hate it so much because it ruined me.
Left me feeling like a chewed up dog toy, it was fun, but now I'm broken. This season man
Silence in the Library... just looking forward to it so much.
Me too!
I love this season, Donna is one of the best companions
I'm loving the new intros, very creative.
You guys need to look out for some actors from other things coming up. For example you get both Rollo and Jyn Erso this series. You didn't pick up that the guy in family of blood was Viserys Targaryen last series :)
Don't forget Gendry too (the doctor's daughter).
Finally, Donna!
"Who's that?" "HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH!?" lol
a bit surprised that you didn't recognise Donna's granddad (or just didn't mention it). He was in the last episode, selling papers when The Doctor and Astrid teleported on Earth (he explained that Londoners were afraid of aliens, that's why the streets were empty on Christmas day)!
Also, you can make a sonic device if you're smart enough, it's not a unique Doctory thing (a tiny Torchwood spoiler)
finally, the best companion is here
It'd be cool if there was a mini-follow up video with just Shane's reactions. Would've loved to have seen his face at the Rose reveal. Get well soon
that intro tho
Great Into! Love it!
Did they forget Donnas grandad is in the last episode or did they just not mention it
Now that I watched....Donna! Welcome to an awesome season, in my opinion. Oh, and the Rose thing will take a while to be answered, but it will be worth it. ;)
First Black Sails now this. Blind Wave is upping their intro game
Donna! The best companion :-) I wonder if they’ll notice next weeks guest star.
Two guest stars.
Next week it’s Pompeii...and it’s volcano day!
one of my fav episodes and erics face when he see rose haha made my day
Kylie was (and is) big throughout Europe, not only in the UK. So that was a huge thing when she appeared in DW. cool intro! *went to watch the rest of the video*
We missed Shane’s reaction
What an amazing intro! <3
Omg that opening is amazing :D
that intro made my week!!!
