2: They are chimeras, like Greeds gang from early on, they have taken aspects of the animal even in their human form. Mostly i think its them being scared of their family thinking they are literal monsters and cant accept them.
1. Please watch episode 40 next week, you can add the ova at the end of the vid or something.

It is only 5 minutes too. 40 is such a great episode and answers so many of their questions. I wish they would watch and upload both. The OVA is so short and just a side story that I don鈥檛 think it betrays their no two episodes in a week rule nor does it feel like it will rushing the series since the OVA aren鈥檛 crucial to the storylines themselves. This is at least the last OVA right? We鈥檙e not going to get two more during the final episodes and have to take a break in between those too are we?
I wonder if Eric and Shane are aware that that the voices of Vegeta and Trunks voice Armstrong and Kimblee ...

I think the Chimeras don't turn full back to their original human bodies, they keep some traces of their animals.
So close to 40! If they end up watching some ova I haven't heard about, I'd die :P

It's like how Hohenheim feels like he's a monster despite looking like a human, in regards to the Chimeras. It's more of a personal shame than a physical ailment.
