would love for you guys to start watching attack on titan. how would we suggest that?
They're going to put it as a poll after FMA finished.
Sweet I got this a week early. Booya! :D
2 a week, por favor
Also, hell no, I would not stay on the force. For all they know he is already able to kill them and is just waiting for them to say they won't back down.
I always felt that lights character is the perfect example of 'absolute power corrupts absolutely'.
Light killed them for the same reason that he killed Lind L. Taylor. They defied him.
At least Eric is honest
@zelda yesss
@ Zelda, ,YES
Anyone else want a two a week poll?
Talking about sidimg with L now. Don't take sides at all. Just sit back and enjoy the chess match.
I mean.... yeah, enjoy the chess match, but I'm a little dismayed that people think there are sides to take. Light is very clearly the villain of the story.
Basically, Light sees himself as a god and will kill anyone who opposes his ideas of "justice." The overall message of the show is that nothing is just. There is no true good or true evil.
It's been over a month and I still can't believe they are reacting to one of my favorite shows! It's like my birthday every Tuesday!
oh and i wouldve stayed on the task force!
Hello Blindwave! love the discussion afterwards always nice to hear your thoughts, yall always seem to know how to keep the conversation light (: .keep up the great work
Light wouldn’t have that mindset of it wasn’t me who did it. He’s far too immersed in his new world, his intelligence, and his ego is enormous which is what L used to provoke him in Episode 2 by calling him evil. Light definitely would consider the Agents deaths as his own doing and a victory over them and L. You also have to understand Light views this whole thing as an elaborate game with intensely high stakes.
He kinda has no choice in the matter of killing the fbi it’s either kill them or get eventually caught
I think the reasoning would be that because firearms aren't readily available in Japan that crimes involving them are incredibly rare. So it would be suspicious.
naturally if they try to stop him from doing "good" then they are "evil" that```s his point of view
Kira goes after anyone who prevents him from exacting judgment. With his twisted sense of justice, Kira considers them "Evil".
Also I can’t wait for them to get to “KK” (NO SPOILERS) it’s later in the series. I can’t wait for them to discuss that and the controversy with that
Anyone else, who has finished the series, and without spoilers, think they should start keeping track of everything that L does unlawfully. They are getting to the point where they can start to watch for that and it’s not spoilers because he has already done something illegal. Putting that criminal for a public execution in place of himself.
I don't really think her thinking the bus jacking was weird was too much of a stretch. Also having her her husband to be die a week later from Kira further proves her theory. Just my opinion.
People have hunches that don’t always have a logical progression all the time. It is not as odd as people think and happens more often than not. Once her future husband died too she chose to follow that bunch, which looks way more suspicious now considering the only odd thing to happen following his death was that bus incident.
Also he moved up from killing Criminals to killing accused Criminals.
If he did touch it Ryuk was likley staying out of sight
