Legends of Tomorrow 3x3 Poll!
Is changing time for the better worth the effects of changing time?
Comments (27)
Only in situations where things are already fucked up because of the legends and will have to be fixed later anyway.
The effects of changing time really only affect those who know what the alternative timeline was, right? So technically the consequences aren't to changing time itself but the events that followed naturally in the new timeline. So yeah, stop the Holocaust, end slavery, and stop Trump. I'll take my chances with a obscure future rather than a terrible one.
Zari in the comics is the wife of black Adam and is referred to as isis because her amulet provides possession of the god isis they changed the code name in legends for obvious reasons
It would be harder for in the moment decisions, but when there's time for debate I wonder if Gideon could analyze what effects the changes would have so they could determine if it's worth the change or not.
Well, its better for us.
I would say Yes, it's worth it. However, you also have to keep in mind what consequences it has for the future. Do we stop George Crum from inventing the potato chips or do we let it continue, and, eventually, lead the way for roasted pickles in honey?
I said yes, but that doesn't mean the legends are the ones to do it. I'm going to stand ferm on this, they should go back to being hero's & drop the time-ship back to someone more able to fix time. Help Oliver or the flash that kind of thing I'm sure There family missed them.
I don't think they should go out of their way to change time, but when they get a chance like Jax did, they should take it
Depends. On a pure 'outside' perspective, time shouldn't be rewritten as it will change events and you have no right over history however our humanity says otherwise (seeing that someone needs help).
Better means better. THE EFFECTS OF CHANGING TIME MUST BE BETTER!
Like some have said the repercussions for changing the future are not as bad as changing the past, since like doc brown said, your future hasn鈥檛 been written yet. Good ol doc brown 馃榿
Becky "with the good luck" Sharpe must be related to Sharpe from the Time Bureau. and yes they screw up for the better.
There are less consequences to changing the future than the past because the future is always changing.
The Ability to change time is a good thing cause there is some things in history that needs changed but In a Legends or Flash Show not so much.
Since the question says it's definitively for the better then I can't see any problem with the first answer (apart from 'its' missing an apostrophe - if only someone could go back in time and change it).
Totem bearers have to be descended from Zambezi.
The fire and water totems were both destroyed. Kuasa absorbed the powers of the water totem.
Probably no. There is no telling if the changes will be good or bad. It would suck to kill Hitler before he rose to power only to come home and find something worse happened without him.
I feel i wouldn't be a good time traveller because slavery, the holocaust and other tragic events wouldn't have happened and that'd be breaking so many rules lol
Just wanted to point out zari is based on the isis character you guys were referring to, they changed the name for obvious reasons
Yeah. Changing your past is a no-go, but everyone changes their futures every moment they're alive.
Depending if you changing tje furture from your point of you. If it ls the furture for you then the furture is not set until it is your present.
Water Lady was water bending.
Look at every Decision Barry Allen has ever made 馃槀 it's a definite no.
I think only if it is an absolute you have to
I literally published a book exploring this concept.
Changing time is a nono whatever the reason. It was covered already with sarah wanting to prevent laurels death.
