For that guy that got hit by a truck, Light wrote simply "traffic accident" for him.

Oh man I love the speculation on the rules and possibilities because of how important all these little loopholes become by the end.

Hey quick question guys. They have additional rules on the screen between breaks in the episode. Just wondering if you guys like go back or pause to read them? Cuz some are very interesting. Just wondering. Love the reactions, you guys. Keep it up!

You guys are misunderstanding the rules just a little bit. Once you write a name in the book that person will die--if you just write the name and nothing else they the person will die in 40 seconds of a heart attack (it's like the default setting)-- but if you want to be specific about how they die then you have 6 mins and 45 seconds (I think, not sure why it's so specific) to write the specific time and cause of death.

They're still thinking about this in a basic way, I'm afraid this won't be a typical good and evil story, the line between those two concepts is quite blurred with all the twisted ideology in this show.

I believe at a mid episode point it says when picking a time of death it has to be within 30 days or it won't happen.

They are going to appreciate the next episode for giving them more rules and some limitations alone lol. Glad to see they are enjoying this though.

I won't say what they are since it could be considered spoiling, but the author did make a very detailed long list of all the rules of the Death Note. It might be cool to pull them up after the final episode for discussion. They might answer some questions or promote more questionable scenarios.

Every time I watch a reactor start this series and see are the careful planning and wit of Light (aside from the Linde thing) I get sad that the Netflix movie just throws it all out the window. :(

I mean that’s the time limit you can’t choose someone to die more than 23 days after you’ve written the name

You can only manipulate the date of death to be 23 or 27 days(don’t remember exactly) after you’ve written the name, it’s on the rules.

I love how they are already figuring out things from later in the show and wanting more rules to the death note

The gods of death in this anime have always felt less like "gods" and more like another high-level beings/species thats just feeding on humans.
