I agree with the "not feeling a connection to the new characters" thing. One of my main complaints is that this season the characters feel less like a family than in the first series, and more just like a group of characters together because they have powers. Think only 3 or 4 of the new characters I actually properly enjoy by seasons end, Beetle, Beast Boy, and a character who you meet very very soon, arguably one or two others, but barely.
There once was a superhero named Apache Chief. His power was growing his body, becoming a giant. The opposite of The Atom. Tjey got rid of him though, because people complained about his name being racist... despite the character actually being an actual chief of an apache tribe. Is it really racist if it's true? But anyway, this episode, and the character of Ty Longshadow as a whole, is a not-so-subtle nod to the character from the 70s.
i feel like that's less of a nod more of a reboot of that character.
wait till they meet the hero from the Dakotaverse
Was I unique in being happy with the new characters from the get-go? I had seen these guys on Teen Titans, various Batman cartoons, and other DC media and I was always excited when new ones were introduced. I feel like they should watch Teen Titans at some point too.
Nah I always hyped about it.
Are you guys really gonna complain about the new characters every episode?
Especially Shane. He's starting to get on my nerves.
Band as in a group. That's what a "music band" comes from. Bands.
Unfortunate timing for a filler episode because it ruins the flow of reintroducing the old characters and establishing this seasons storyline... wasn't looking forward to this one because it just delays the next two.
I wouldn't call this a 'filler' episode; it sets up a ton of stuff that plays out for the rest of the series.
Great reaction guys.
Can't wait for next week it's gonna be so crash!!!! What will Eric & Aaron think?!
Next two episodes are amazing, can't wait
Patience guys. Artemis wasn't even introduced until episode 6 of season 1. Give it time.
Godammit, apparently Young Justice was taken off Netflix within the past week, so I have to go looking for a streaming site to sync it up with the full reaction instead.
Yeah DC is making their own personal streaming website its where season 3 will be premiering i think
