Regarding Smallville: that race was only close until Bart decided to stop jogging. He took off making Clark go "wtf just happened?"
That's why they are referencing Spider-Man with Black Spider, as Spectacular Spider-Man was another fantastic show.
Well, you probably know Kelly Hu from X-Men 2 as Lady Deathstrike, even though she wasn't talking much in that one.
I'm surprised they phased out Superboy so fast, especially after last episode that showed Superboy has some lingering programming that can be activated. That was my primary suspect since Cadmus made him and they didn't care he left.
Kelly Hu was Lady Deathstrike from X2 and Chyna White from Arrow.
I love the homage to Greg Wiesmann's version of Spider-Man from Spectacular Spider-Man with his use of Black Spider here. And the fact that they got Josh Keaton the voice of Spider-Man from that show to voice Black Spider here is awesome! Speaking of...I'd love to see you guys react to Spectacular Spider-Man (only 26 episodes).
Im looking forward too the finale of this series and there reaction.
Yeah I'm dying to see the last two episodes specifically
This version of Black Spider is a Greg Weismann shoutout/reference to the Spectacular Spiderman Cartoon that he co-created, but I think it was canceled. The VS Josh Keaton also lends his voice to this character aswell. I think it's more acceptable with that knowledge, but I can understand why it rubs you the wrong way.
Fun fact. The voice of Black Spider is Josh Keaton, who also voiced Spider-Man in the Greg Weismann show Spectacular Spider-Man
I loved that show, but it's so unknown to the majority of people.
Young justice, young justice...time to watch some young justice
