This is the most important poll of the season, the continuity of his hair is much more important than William screw that kid.....lol
I don't mind it's fakeness....it sort of looked fake in the pilot imo
I am just hoping that the show somehow connects Ollie's behavior from now in the flashbacks to when he gets back. He was acting pretty traumatized and island trained. So either they find a clever way of doing that, or just say he faked it which would be annoying.
It makes sense if he shaved after getting on the boat. Therefore no questions asked lol

I'm thinking that with kovar now there. Something will happen that makes Ollie miss the boat anatolie sends 2 days later. He is then stuck there for months until a new boat comes by which is what we saw in season 1. I'm thinking this mainly based on how the timeline of arrow works where episodes are mostly set in equal time to the real world days. Meaning it is May when he got back to the island just now and he wasn't rescued until October back in season 1
I thought this too. I think Kovar even tells him he's gonna miss his boat. Hopefully this happens and he's there longer, don't care for the fake beard thing.
Kovar is going to make Ollie miss the boat send for him and he's still there for a few month to grow a beard.
it's actually smart of them, and at least they didn't left behind a plot hole

Really in the comic's he is drawn that way you almost half expect it. In smallville you got use to a clean shaven Oliver Queen. If I were going to fight the looks of anyone it would be the flash "He should be blond !" but I like this flash .

Why not? He can ask the first people he meets for a razor, even the fishermen or whatever who are going to get him off the island. After that, he can throw away the fake beard and nobody will ever know. Ingenious. ;)
i'm sure he can make an argument for why he has short hair, but i find it difficult to cut your beard without cutting your skin a few times. also, i'd have prefered for the bones to be moira's, oliver and thea would have gotten so pissed and it could have been an episode of them trying to go for the kill and the rest of the team trying to capture him and put him in prison

I'm fine with it. And the guy in Russia who poses as people sets up the possibility, so it doesn't come out of nowhere.
Not an issue, Arrow is the world where Human Target can look like anyone so why couldn't they have hair and a beard that looked real enough to fool people, plus he would have been the one to shave not someone else.
I didn't even noticed that or even thought about it... so I don't care :)

Can't say I'm that bothered really. Would have liked to see him survive on the island again for a while like season 1.
Fine with me, they never showed him shaving it off in s1 so this was a nice twist

Who cares? As long as it properly sets up for the beginning of season one, it works for me.
For me I feel like this is just yet another of the many slaps in the face the showrunners and writers have given to the fans. It's utter rubbish. Total bullshit. And it's just bloody awful writing.
