I think they left it really open so that if they want him back they can get him but I definitely don't think that this is the end of his story

I think that because Aida is using darkhold magic, Ghost Rider may find a connection to her and be able to return to fight at the end of the season

I'm pretty sure he will try to create a body for hope and they'll both be in the real world. (so will Ward)

Mac and his shotgun axe arn't finished yet

I would like Mac to be back but I think it would be nice if they could use this as closure for the character that way he won't die some weird way down the line

Why would Daisy di the stupid thing and tell Mac that.

Still don't know anything about season 4 of agent's of shied.

The only way Mac will come back willingly is if he can bring Hope to the real world using the machine Fitz built.

If they take away Mac at least give us Trip back.

I think its very likely for Mack to comeback. Frankly speaking, so could many of the other characters that were in the framework like Ward, Tripp and even Radcliffe, with the help of the looking glass.

If the show gets a fifth season, I bet we will get to see as many of the old faces as the show can muster to put on one last AoS style banger of a season. I would bet the writers don't even know what the season finale will end up like so they are keeping the door open and giving us Hope.

Unless the framework is destroyed with him in it, we still have a chance of seeing him

I think Fitz is more confused. Think about it this way, he had years of fake memories that crashed with his real memories. His emotions are disjointed. I played PSVR for a couple of hours and had trouble grabbing things in the real world for a couple of minutes because using the move controller to grab things was different in reality. if two hours does that to me(while i know its fake) how does years while he think its true.

Well I think Ghost Rider will return and Help Mac Get Out. I think Macs Daughter will tell her Daddy Mac Too Wake Up But It Will Be Ghost Rider to remind im he still has a purpose. If There is a Next Season Mac can be working with Ghost Rider and Quit Shield for A While.

I don't know if this is his last season or not but I feel like we'll probably at least see him in the framework again before the end if nothing else.

I hope we will see him again, but I think with the way shield gets rid of it's characters this may be the end for Mac.

I think we'll see him again but I kinda hope he then returns to the Framework, it would be a beautiful end to his story. And who knows, maybe Yo-Yo decides to join Mac and Hope there too, which would give them some kind of 'happy end'

I'm hopeful for more Mac and a way to bring his daughter back for him. Though her consciousness is not connected so I don't think that's possible, she is literally just code. The framework is still functioning so there's always Hope!!!

definitely not the last of mac daddy. obviously Ada's device that can create new bodies will be used to bring back some characters including mac's daughter
