Nice Lick - 1
Morning patrons. New video today, we're going to learn one of my current favourite licks - a slippery, string-skippy E minor phrase. Link to the video and the music/tab below. Hope you enjoy learning it.
I'm off to film my Christmas special video which should be out next week...
Speak soon,
Adrian

Excellent :)
Yes, good idea Brian - plenty of amazing Jerry Reed licks to choose from. I'll see what I can find!
I like this new lick idea and I'm really into country style (still enjoying the life's greatest fool solo).... 'chicken pickin' in particular. How about a Jerry Reed lick?
Hi Brian, I always thought Jerry Reed was massively under-rated as a guitarist, probably because he was an entertainer first and a bit of a clown. A bit like Glen Campbell. Anyway, I found a tab for East Bound and Down ages ago and learned the solo out of that. Not sure if it passes the Woodward test for authenticity, but it has has some great licks and I still love playing it even now. The rhythm part has a nice pick / strum pattern too.
