Project Manager Tier Feedback
Hello my beautiful, wonderful Patrons!
I have run into a bit of a conundrum with the current model of the Project Manager tier and I’d like to get your feedback.
The remainder of 2022 is going to be seriously busy for my wife and I. My brother is getting married in May and my wife’s sister is getting married in September (both are destination weddings). Along with that obviously comes bridal showers, bachelor(ette) parties, yada yada. Add to that that we’re also trying to buy a house and you get the idea. My current pace of porting assets into Trainz is not going to be sustainable until all the dust from this year settles.
For some context, each asset takes me an average of 2 hours to successfully port into the game. Some take longer. So 6-8 assets requires about 12-16 hours of my time each month. Since my goal for 2022 is to complete the P&B I think that time would be better spent on that and producing the associated videos.
I’m looking for your feedback for what I should do with this tier.
Options:
1. Do nothing. Leave the tier open as it is, but only port assets/asset updates as my time permits. This would keep the tier open but the benefit (asset packs) would be less regular. Maybe one or two assets/asset updates every few weeks (I still have dozens of purchased assets to port in yet…). I’d obviously change the verbiage on the tier description so prospective Patrons would know it’s more of a long term support tier rather than a monthly one.
2. Hide the Project Manager tier from the public. This would allow current Patrons to remain in this tier and continue to receive new assets or asset updates as my time permits but would not allow new Patrons to join. You guys would have the option to stay in the Project Manager tier, go up to the Dispatcher tier or go down a tier (I guess you could cancel too 😩 )
I don’t want to outright close the tier because I still have dozens of assets to port in as well as many updates to assets I’ve already ported (most of my early stuff doesn’t have LOD). My hope is to get back to regularly porting assets closer to the winter season.
Since this is one of my more popular Patreon Tiers, I wanted to see what you guys think, good and bad! The last thing I want is for anyone to think I’m sitting here collecting Patreon money and not putting in the work.
Thanks everyone!

Option 2 would be the best choice by the sound of things.
I say 2. That way you don't have to keep explaining all this to new comers every month
I would be good with 2 for now that way you are not stressing yourself out 🤷♂️
