February 2026 Newsletter
Hope everyone has been able to stay warm this January 🥶 It's been awfully cold here in the Northeast.
I was planning to do this months newsletter in video format, but I came home from the Springfield show with a gnarly case of the Rona. Right now I look terrible and sound terrible so I didn't want to put you through all that in a video 🙃. Next months "newsletter" will be in video format though 😉

What's New?
I've been working a lot on the P&B over the last month or so. I decided I wanted to begin reworking the area past Old Town where the refinery was located. I have a video in the works so I don't want to spoil too much, but I decided to remove the refinery and add a couple miles of new track and an all new town. I was hoping to have the video out by now, but getting sick kinda held that up. Hopefully will have that video up in another week or so. I think you guys will like the new town (pun intended).
This new area is going to require quite a bit of work to fully complete. So I'm considering changing my video format a little to shorten the tedious parts of the build and only showcase the more detailed or technical scenes rather than letting the camera run continuously while I work. What kind of stuff do you guys prefer to see in the videos these days?
Once this branch is a bit more complete I'd like to begin work on Allegheny and the steel mill. This is going to be a massive undertaking so I want to make sure I'm prepare before I dive into it. I expect it should make a pretty good series of videos 😏
As far as N scale stuff goes, I haven't gotten much done on the layout itself. I've been more interested in painting and weathering my rollingstock and buildings lately. I wanted to begin expanding the layout this month but it's been too cold outside to cut the lumber needed. So that'll have to wait for the world the thaw a little more.
I did go to the Springfield show and it was awesome as always. I met a bunch of you guys there and bought a bunch of stuff I didn't expect to buy lol. If you're interested, I posted a short video on Patreon (free to watch) covering my haul.

Executive: The latest P&B download will be available later this week once I get to a good stopping point in the build. This update will include the new extension to the Old Town Branch as well as additional texture and scenery updates throughout the route.
Dispatcher: I think I missed last months Patreon Only livestream (I blame the move to Sunday nights). Let's try to do this months stream on Sunday the 15th (hopefully I remember).
Weekly Wednesday Sunday Hangouts: The move to Sunday evenings has been working out well so far so I'd like to continue doing them then. This upcoming Sunday seems to be the Super Bowl so we might have to modify the day or time but we can discuss that in the Discord.
Model Railroader: Plenty of content ahead! Planning to make a few videos covering decals and upcoming track work so stay tuned!
