With my main release for the year behind me, I usually like to take a little time off for the summer. But, If you didn’t catch the end of my most recent N scale update video, I’m going to be moving within the next two weeks! In the meantime, I’m working on putting together some videos for you guys to enjoy while I do the hard work moving my entire life into our first house.
Since I’m not currently working on a new build, it freed up a bit of my headspace to develop some ideas that’ve been floating around in there for a while. Many of you have mentioned you’ve been missing the tutorial videos and community spotlight videos. So with that in mind, I started working on a few of those to fill that void. Over the next few weeks you should (hopefully) see 3 new Trainz videos on the channel. A new 10 tips video, a tutorial, and something a little different than anything I’ve done before. I think you guys will really enjoy each of them and I hope YouTube actually does the work of pushing them to your subscription box.
And in case you didn't hear about it already, I've been published in the July Rail Model Craftsman! Pretty neat! I wrote an article covering how I painted and decaled one of my BLI NW2's into the Cross Harbor scheme. The issue should be hitting the shelves around now so definitely go check it out! I also recorded a bunch of video of the process so I'm hoping to put that together into something for Youtube eventually.
I also wrote up a few posts for Patreon covering how I painted the track on my layout as well as wiring. I'm trying to keep the pace of at least one Model Railroad post per month. Thankfully the hobby is pretty rich with material to write about 😊
What's Next?
Other than that, I’ve been in the early stages of planning, or at least brainstorming the next project(s). We’ve had a very active and productive conversation going on in the Patreon section of the discord so if that’s something that interests you make sure to check out the Patreon.
Just to give you a loose idea, it's looking to be a few sessions for the DBEV and P&B first, then I’ll be jumping back into route building probably closer to the end of summer. I’ve got some ideas up my sleeve, but you’ll just have to wait to see how they develop 😊

Hopefully the move goes smoothly and I'll be fully back in the drivers seat within the next few weeks. The new space I'll be living and working in will be much quieter and less distracting, so once I'm settled I think it's going to equate to a more productive environment.
