Going to keep this one short because I've got a lot to do to prepare the New York Cross Harbor for release!

News

The Cross Harbor is in it's final stage before release. I've fully tested the route and sessions in a fresh Trainz Plus installation without issue and have everything packed up and ready to ship! You guys shouldn't have any issues with installation. All that's left to do is finish the release video and write up the store page and we'll be ready to rock! So stand by for a release by the weekend 😃

What's included you ask?

• The NYCH Route (obviously)

• 3 NYCH Loco's

  • 21

  • 22

  • 25 Painted in its BEDT centennial scheme

• 3 Sessions

  • Free Play - an open ended sandbox session that's pre-seeded with DLS cars for you to explore and switch trains right away

  • Intro - This is a 60 minute intro session to help get you acquainted with the operations and layout of the route

  • Switching - This is a longer switching session where you'll be tasked with pulling empties and spotting loads at some of the industries around Bush Terminal. ~2 hour run time depending on your skill level

• NYCH Overview Doc

  • Should provide a little more context for those not familiar with the NYCH as well as industry locations, commodities, speeds, etc.

I have to mention again that the route uses HDT and will only properly run in the current Trainz Plus. However, it will install and run in the 22 base version and 22 Platinum, just some of the terrain will not render properly (it's really not that bad since the route is mostly flat). So bare that in mind when you hit that "check out" button please!

What's Next?

A lot of you guys have been asking me "what's next," and the honest answer right now is, I have no idea. There's been a lot of discussion in the Patreon section of my Discord and I've had some ideas floating around my head for some time, but until I complete the Cross Harbor I can't really devote any brain power to the next project. Suffice to say, I'll be just as surprised as you guys will be lol.

Generally after I complete a big project like this, I like to take a little time off to stave off all the burnout that comes with bringing a project to completion. Usually I can't stay way for very long though so that just means a week or two out of the game 🤪

I've got some other announcement's but I'll be making those during a future video and/or livestream as well as next months Newsletter.

Dispatcher: This month is going to begin getting very busy for me very soon so let's do the monthly livestream on the 11th at 7 PM EST. Since the NYCH will be done by then please feel free to submit suggestions for a topic to stream.

Weekly Wednesday Hangouts continue as usual, except for the 18th. That's my wedding anniversary. So we'll plan an alternate night when the time comes.
