[NEWS 1] Future Roadmap & Operational Changes
Hello, this is homunclust. I am writing this newsletter to keep you updated on the site’s operation and future plans.
Reflecting on Recent Development For the BUCKET HEAD series, I attempted to work on both the game and the comic simultaneously. This was intended to minimize the gap in marketing on PIXIV and X (Twitter) between game development cycles by uploading a 4-panel comic every week.
However, this turned out to be a mistake. It caused the game development to slow down, while the weekly comics suffered from low quality and failed to effectively deliver information or marketing results.
Therefore, I am announcing several changes to improve the situation:
1. Separating Game & Comic Production Cycles To ensure better quality and manage production time effectively, I will stop parallel production.
I will separate the "Game Dev Period" from the "Comic Production Period."
After a game phase is completed, I plan to upload doujinshi, comics, or webtoon-style content.
2. NSFW Artwork for PIXIV & X Maintenance
I will post miscellaneous ideas or illustrations (outside of BUCKET HEAD) to PIXIV and X to keep the accounts active.
If you share good ideas on our Discord, I may select and draw them!
3. Standardizing the Schedule
To make posts more regular, I plan to hold H-Scene Polls every week or every other week.
Your votes will decide the content of the H-Scenes, so please participate!
4. Organizing Collections & Shop The current collection is a bit cluttered. I will simplify the categories into:
Game Files (Game ZIP, Scene files, Code, etc.)
Comics
Sketches/Doodles
H-Scenes
Etc.
Note: All prices in the Collection and Shop will be reset and readjusted.
5. Pausing Fanbox & Ci-en I will be consolidating my sponsorship platforms to focus solely on Patreon.
Development Goals To minimize irregular updates, my goal is to create 1 Character Pixel Art & 1 H-Scene per week.
Weekly H-Scene Polls: Voting will be exclusive to paid members. I believe this will give proper value to your voting rights.
