Tier Changes
Hi Guys, We have up coming tier changes, which I will post about in greater detail soon. But basically Apple have now insisted on charging all Patreon creators 30% on all new Patreon membership subscription, and so Patreon are now in a position where they are moving us all to monthly subscriptions instead of per creation. This is starting this November until everyone is swapped over. I think mine is due to start 1st November 2024. As you know I always release at least an episode per week so depending if its a four or five week month you always get 4 or 5 episodes a month plus any extra episodes and videos I release for you all to enjoy. I hope you can understand how stressful this is for us and many other creators as we stand to lose 30% of our income which is devastating! Patreon are helping and advising me what my new monthly tiers will be, but basically they are just taking an average 'episodes released' over the last three months and setting the new tier price to match that. So your new monthly subscription should be the same or similar to what you have already been paying.

James you are so kind! Patreon have given me new tier amounts and I think it’s going to work out like a 5 episode mth even on a 4 episode mth if that makes sense. Which is obviously slightly dearer over all for our patrons but is trying to help towards our loses and the 52 week year which can’t be easily divided into 12 mths. I’m so worried about it all! I will post more information soon, so you know about any changed before anything happens!

It’s crazy isn’t it that they can do this! Patreon have absolutely no choice or they will kick them off the iOS app which so many people use. 30% it’s daylight robbery!
