Week 57 Becca Chang, Lana Line Up, and Blog

Hi everyone, I am back! Right so I've been away for about a week due to travel and managed to get a few drawings done quickly between stops.

First we got Becca Chang's Pin-up. With both of these pieces today, I should say I did not have access to the internet. Thus I was working with only the references I had saved before hand. While I did prepare quite a bit when things weren't working with one sketch I had to jump to a new pose that did not have a lot of reference. That said, I think the pose looks good. The heels really do a lot of heavy lifting here but I think it works. What's interesting is that I originally wanted to do leopard print but I could only find giraffe print examples from the Casagrandes. However, that giraffe print makes total sense for the heels meant to give height. If I could have planned better then I would have tried showing it off more.

Alright, the second piece is a little of a copout. I still need to do a Two-Koma image for Lana. However my attempts while traveling were very bad. Part of it is that Lana's hair design resembles Stella's and I think I need to revaluate it to make her look more individual. I really like the flipped hair look but I think a great approach would be to mix a little of Inc House's Lincoln's look and Luna's look. In the mean time I wanted to offer a little something.

So in order to practice, I took some outfits I saw while traveling and drew Lana in them. I'm not the best at drawing in LH style but I think these are passable. While I didn't do the close in eyes I did do the rounded nose instead of the pointed one I usually do. Hopefully the little joke sprinkled in is enough to make it worth your while.

My current plan is to work on either the last H-Scene of the game featuring Darcy or Reworking ThiccQT's HJ scene as I don't think that one's up to par for my taste. We'll see how things go throughout next week.
