February 2024 Recap
Hey all!
Here is a quick recap of everything released last month <3
(Silver) Reaper Prestige Class
Reapers are unyielding warriors known for heralding the coming of death. Whatever their origin and belief, every Reaper has felt death’s embrace and returned from the afterlife with purpose. Some relish the pain they inflict, traveling their path alone with the everlasting darkness surrounding them. Others understand the importance of life and death, and forgo the cruelty associated with their profession, seeing their scythe’s final swing as an act of compassion.
(Silver) Bard Subclass: Imaginary Friends
The College of Imaginary Friends is the home of bards who have discovered a way to fulfill their need to entertain even while they’re alone. By talking to themselves! Whether singing a ballad, playing an instrument, or giving an eloquent speech, these bards can manifest perfect visual illusions of themselves to serve as an audience. Bard of this college are regarded as mischievous for their ability to sow chaos and doubt, disorienting both allies and enemies with their beguiling talent.

(Silver) Cleric Subclass: Dragon Domain
Dragon domain clerics act as stalwart defenders, protecting the vulnerable from destructive dragons who inspire fear and terror. Others serve as merciless treasure seekers, intent on adding riches to their master's hoard. Regardless of their intent, clerics of the dragon domain draw on the divine power of ascendant dragons, augmenting themselves to be similar to the dragons they serve.
In Erenel, ascendant dragons who grant the power of the dragon domain include Rynngrailar the Greatwyrm, Eol the Starheart, Khalrashan the Godslayer, Elanthil the Allsight and Movoidis the Bloodsong.

(Silver) Rogue Subclass: Dragon Fang
Masters of draconic powers, the dragon fang are skilled assassins and spies who have aligned themselves with a thieves’ guild sponsored by, or indebted to, an Ascendant Dragon. As a dragon fang, thanks to this connection, you’ve discovered the ability to harness the ancient and mystical might of dragons.
This archetype is common in Erenel, particularly in the Thalorian Wilds. After the defeat of the mad sorcerer Morthos Dray and his Draconic army by Grenchester's Balefire Knights, the liberated Draconic began a new life in the region. Struggling to find a footing in the shadow of the Illuminated Church, many Draconic would band together and resort to a life of thievery.

(Silver) Sorcerer Subclass: Royal Bloodline
The power of your royal ancestry has suffused you with magic and emboldened your soul. Whether you are an inheritor to the throne of a kingdom, a forgotten offspring denied legitimacy or a distant relative to an emperor, the power of king’s blood flows within you.
Thanks to your royal bloodline, you enjoy a natural magnetism, which is often conveyed from your commanding voice and majestic presence. Perhaps you are unaware of the source of your power, since it does not come from distant planes or the supernatural, but instead from the raw power of aided ambition.

(FREE) Dragonfire SpelIs | Volume II
Three more spells are here for our Dragonfire theme! Bring Down is a new reaction spell to bring down flying creatures when they move into range. Draconic Blood lets you gain draconic qualities outside the normal resistance and dragon's breath weapon. Gain blindsight and a more powerful unarmed strike for 1 hour. Flame Wreath lets you summon a ring of fire that dances around you, burning enemies when they come too close.
(FREE) Find Familiar: Ashard Hatchling
Ashard dragon hatchlings enter the world with a curious nature and limited psionic abilities. Before the Hatchling grows into a Wyrmling, they are often sought out by oracles and archmages, as their dampened abilities and keen wit make them superior familiars.
An ashard hatchling are small crystal dragons with a purplish-blue hide and slender body. A pair of reflective wings made of glass sprout from their shoulders, accompanied by multifaceted crystal formations on their shoulders and head. Thanks to their innate psionic ability, the ashard hatchling defies gravity with flight that doesn’t rely on their glass wings. Instead, the crystals surrounding their heads emerge and orbit the dragon as they use their psionic skill to propel themselves forward telekinetically. Lacking a breath weapon, the ashard hatchling empowers their wings, causing an explosion of prismatic light to flash outward in a dazzling display.

(FREE) Landwyrms: 4 Creature Statblocks
A primitive cousin of modern day ascendant dragons and often looked down upon by their relatives, landwyrms believe they are the true dragons of Erenel. As the first dragon blessed with a breath weapon, designed as the creator god Al'Madoon, the Architect intended during creation, landwyrms despise the five dragon types (chromatic, cosmic, gemstone, hexwing, metallic) created from the shattered soul of the nameless one. The ascendant dragons dismiss such claims, regulating landwyrms into the grottos of Erenel, unimpressed by their origin.

TTRPG SPOTLIGHT - ALIEN RPG
It's a fantastic time for tabletop gaming, and I am ready to dive into different systems. Let’s check out TTRPGs not named Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder together. In TTRPG Spotlight, we vote every month and pick a new TTRPG to explore as a community.
We’ll learn and discuss the rules in Discord.
I’ll host a community game night and run multiple one-shots, learning and teaching the TTRPG as we go.
After 4 to 6 weeks, we vote again!
Disclaimer. This doesn’t mean Gamingbrew is going to make third-party content for the TTRPG Spotlight, or they’ll be any difference in 5E releases. Just that we’re a TTRPG community and we should check out different TTRPGs together!
The community voted last week on the Gamingbrew Discord and our March TTRPG Spotlight is ALIEN RPG!
