Vice, Pirate Lords | Creature Statblocks
Today's 5E creature statblocks delve into the Vice Pirate Lords. The first creature is the Vice Pirate Captain, who pledges loyalty to the Tempest King for protection from the Krovian Empires' warships and to enter the Free City of Pandaros.
Every captain needs a crew. Additional statblocks for the Vice Pirate and Vice Marksman help fill out the crew and take to the seas!
In the Crimson Shores lies the Free City of Pandaros, a wild and chaotic harbor where the spoils of raids and dungeon delves are sold without oversight or interference. The mighty sorcerer, Tempest King, watches over the city, uncaring as long as he receives his tithe. Pledging loyalty to the Tempest King are the pirate lords of the Vice. Each Vice pirate lord commands their own ships, crew and claim various islands in the region.
The life of members in the Vice is chaotic, perilous, and free of limitations. The wanderlust of exploration and joys of finding treasure far outweighs the threats of sea monsters, Krovian warships, and howling storms. Others seek refuge in the Vice, hiding from another's vengeance or the justice of a nation. The circumstances of crewmates do not concern most pirate captains, but each captain's freedom to run their ship how they deem fit is agreed upon by all.
