It's lore time! Every Wednesday (fingers crossed), I'll share important updates to Erenel's Fictional Universe that I hope inspires your world building or enhances games played in the Erenel Campaign Setting.

This week we're looking at planes in the Realms of Remembrance.
THE ABOVE
Pure and untainted, the Above fills the most stalwart of heroes with unmatched inspiration. Stretching beyond the confinements of mortal sin, the plane of Everlasting Light provides security and peace. While many believe conflict does not exist in this sacred place, the truth is conflict can live without violence and anger as long as we act in the best interest of all.
THE BELOW
A commonly shared sentiment is the hardest step to take is the first. This is not true in the Below. Each step into the wretched hellscape is more difficult than the last. Each step deeper into the Layers of Sin, tear away at any hope you will return to the light above.
ELEMENTAL PLANES
It is believed the crafting of the four elemental planes is Al’Madoon’s first attempt at creation, and their raw, chaotic nature was more than intended. Others stand by the viewpoint that Al’Madoon knew each plane must be chaotic to inspire the change needed to craft the mortal world. Regardless, the four elemental planes continue to be highly volatile, with dangers amplified by the Elemental Lords.
