Thanks to recent technological advancements, firearms are becoming increasingly widespread. Most firearms in Erenel are Flintlocks; however, powerful utterance carvings by Dwarf and Minotaur clans can significantly increase their potential.
While rare, space faring Orcs of Or’nn and the robotic Exiles have introduced Pulse Blasters, arcane weapons that fire energy pulses instead of bullets. These advanced firearms are powerful, expensive, and prone to overheating.
Game play reminder
You'll notice that the Erenel firearms do not have the Loading property. This is intended to prevent interactions with an Artificer's repeating shot infusion, gunner feat, etc., so guns can have a niche and be more interesting than as written in current 5E!
