Titanoboa | Creature Stat Block
Today's 5E creature stat block continues our delve into all things prehistoric. The Titanoboa is roughly designed after the snake of the same name which lived 60 million years ago and is believed to be the largest snake to ever live!
Deep in lush tropical jungles, an enormous snake of legend stalks its prey. The Titanoboa acts like a constrictor snake, asphyxiating creatures unlucky enough to be caught in its grasp. Unfortunately for denizens of the jungle, no creature is too large to become a Titanoboa's meal.
Measuring up to 50 feet long and weighing 2,500 pounds, this apex predator has brown and green scales to camouflage itself as it slowly slinks across forest and swamp terrain.
The Titanoboa can constrict multiple creatures thanks to its enormous size, typically targeting huge beasts such as a Tyrannosaurus Rex or Mammoth. The maw of the Titanoboa is large enough to swallow a horse whole, and in a flash, it can strike, lunging 15 feet to bite down and begin wrapping itself around its victim.
