Blackthorn Brute | Creature Stat Block

Today's creature kicks off our Botany theme! Check out the Blackthorn Brute, a plant-like hydra that uses vines instead of heads.

Accursed offspring of dryads, blackthorn brutes are large humanoid plants with rough bark skin and blackened vines of razor-sharp thorns. Highly territorial and often serving a blackthorn empress, blackthorn brutes prowl deep within forgotten forests, ready to snatch unsuspecting meals with their regenerative vines.
