Adventure Hook #10 | Stolen Inheritance

An aging Gnome and his granddaughter approach the adventurers to recover their family's stolen gold. He offers a percentage of the wealth but is most concerned with providing his granddaughter an inheritance before his inevitable passing. The gold lies hidden in an abandoned military outpost on the border of two rival nations.

While recovering the gold from the outpost, it becomes apparent the aging Gnome was a thief in his youth, stealing the gold and prized artifacts from the neighboring nation's royal family. The royal family sent knights disguised as bandits to collect their possessions without starting a war. The adventurers will need to make a choice. Bring the gold to the aging Gnome for his granddaughter, return what was stolen to the royal family, or keep the wealth for themselves. Each has its own consequence!
