Owlbear Warden | Creature Statblock

Trained by Cendelius Elves as loyal companions from birth, the Owlbear Warden lineage is distinguished by a set of antlers grown by males and a less bulky frame. The typical owlbear screech and feathers covering a thick shaggy coat remain, as well as their trademark stubbornness.

Thanks to centuries of training and breeding practices, the Owlbear Warden maintains its territorial instincts while understanding it is part of a large community that must be protected.

Trained Mounts. An Owlbear Warden can be tamed for use as a mount, but doing so presents a incredibly difficult and deadly challenge for those not prepared. Raising one as cub offers the best results. However, an Owlbear Warden who does not agree with their rider's methods has cost the limb of many a would-be-master.
