Storm Eagle | Creature Statblock

Gliding over the water's edge, Storm Eagles are ferocious avian carnivores, preferring to hunt fish over large bodies of water. Both swift and deadly, Storm Eagles benefit from the ability to produce a minor electrical field across their underside, shocking prey that swims near the ocean's surface.

Pirates and travelers in the Crimson Shores see the Storm Eagle as a fierce mount and companion for long voyages at sea. The marketplace at the Free City of Pandaros is often filled with Storm Eagle eggs, ready to be sold.

Trained Mounts. A Storm Eagle raised from an egg can be trained to serve as a mount. However, such training is time-consuming, expensive, and dangerous. Raising one as a hatchling offers the best results.
