Ashard War Drake | Creature Statblock

Hatched and cared for by Ulkadian Broodmothers, Ashard War Drakes are a prized mount only the most prestigious Ulkadians may ride. The crystalline structure woven into their draconic hide provides enhanced agility and exceptional climbing capabilities. Although they are unable to use the same psionic abilities as the Ashard Dragonflight, War Drakes have a natural ability to protect their rider.

Trained Mounts. An Ashard War Drake can be tamed for use as a mount, but doing so presents a incredibly difficult and deadly challenge for those not trained in the Dragon Rider feat. (coming soon)

Raising one as hatchling with a Broodmother offers the best results. However, an Ashard War Drake who does not agree with their rider's methods has cost the limb of many a would-be-master.
