Patreon Policy Change - Sales Tax

Hey everyone!

Starting on July 1st, Patreon is adding Sales Tax to certain pledges. It looks like this will only affect a handful of states and countries and is different based on where you live. Some may see a marginal change, 10 cents on the dollar, where others might not be affected at all.

I believe this tax is already in place if you're in the EU, so if you're from there you won't notice a difference. Governments wanting their easy cash! If you want to know more, please check out the official post from Patreon here.

Just wanted to let everyone know what's up so there isn't any surprises when July rolls around!
