Illuminated Kingdom Backgrounds & Origin Feats

Two new faction backgrounds and their accompanying origin feats are here! Inspired by followers of different deities of light, these backgrounds are easy to adapt for your own homebrew setting or campaign. Check out the Hearthkeeper and the Lantern Priest by downloading the PDF below or by visiting Erenel's World Anvil.

Hearthkeeper. You follow the tenets of the Blazing Dawn, devoting your life to bringing healing, comfort, and hope to those in need. Through compassion and selfless service, you help mend both the wounds of the body and the bonds that hold communities together. Wherever your journey leads, you leave every place brighter than you found it.

Lantern Priest. You follow the tenets of the Winged Lion, dedicating your life to protecting the innocent and delivering justice to all children of the light. A lantern hangs at your side as both a symbol of your faith and a promise that no darkness will go unchallenged. You stand ready to face the horrors others fear, trusting that the light will guide your path.
