The Jar of Slumbergrub is a glass vessel woven with strands of silver silk harvested from the Glade of Slumber. Within its walls lives a colony of luminous Slumbergrubs, the larval form of tiny dreammoths cultivated by Nythvara Somnomancers. The Nythvara are moth-like guardians of dreams who wander between the waking world and the Trance, Plane of Dreams, protecting sleepers from nightmares and unseen horrors.

Among the Nythvara, these reliquaries are entrusted to wandering guardians who protect sleepers from nightmare entities and guide lost souls through the Trance. When released, Slumbergrubs flutter lazily on shimmering wings of dream dust before bursting into a spray of nectar or releasing a cloud of drowsy pollen.
