Crimson Order Faction | Backgrounds & Origin Feats

Step deeper into the Nevermore Expanse with two new 5E backgrounds. Check out the Crimson Order faction backgrounds and their accompanying Origin feat by downloading the PDF below or by visiting Erenel's World Anvil.

Crimson Order Defector. You were part of the Crimson Order’s machinery: perhaps a leech priest, vitae scribe, or an unsavory collector. You witnessed the Crimson Order’s cruelty and either fled in secret or were branded scorned and cast out. The rituals you once performed now haunt your dreams as the scent of sanctified blood still lingers on your hands.

Crimson Order Initiate. The Crimson Order shapes every aspect of Nephistrad life, binding faith and governance through the sacred circulation of blood. As an initiate, you studied the Sanguinal Codex, learned to draw strength from suffering, and helped maintain the weekly Vida Culling that sustains the Sanguis people.
