Jacklin wears a wide brimmed hat with a crooked buckle, his grinning pumpkin head carved in a permanent mischievous smile. His arms are withered like dry branches, yet nimble enough to pluck quick tunes on his battered banjo. Green leaves sprout from his shoulders, blending into a tattered jacket pinned with a crooked flower badge.

Jacklin is said to be born of a harvest curse. A farmer carved a jack-o’-lantern too well, and when it was left on the scarecrow overnight, something from the Feywild took interest. Now Jacklin roams crossroads and small villages, playing for coin, stories, or company. Some whisper that his music can ward off restless spirits or summon them if he plucks the wrong tune.
