Groveborn Survivor and Shaman | Backgrounds | 5E.24

It's two new backgrounds for our Wrath of the Mad Druid theme! Check out the Groveborn Survivor and Shaman backgrounds and their accompanying Origin feat by downloading the PDF below or by visiting Erenel's World Anvil.

Groveborn Survivor. You once lived in harmony with the wilds until it turned against you. Whether your homeland was overwhelmed by nature’s fury or your people defied the will of a rising primal force, you survived. Now, you bear the physical or spiritual scars of a world out of balance. The memory of what was lost follows you like deep roots clinging to the past, even as you search for a new home.

Shaman. You serve as a bridge between the living world and the unseen. Through rituals, dreams, or instinct, you interpret omens and communicate with ancestral spirits, elementals, or primal beings. These forces whisper truths others overlook, and you have learned to listen. Whether respected or feared, you carry the voice of something older than civilization.
