Forged from the shattered skull of the dreaded pit fiend Zorvexus the Tyrant, this helm radiates an aura of infernal dominion. Zorvexus was a warlord of the Hell's Below, a commander of a thousand devils who waged war across the lower planes. His campaign of destruction nearly shattered the balance of power in the Blood Fathoms, as he sought to usurp the Trazon goat lords and carve out a kingdom of his own.

His reign of terror was brought to an end by Vaelthorian the Hellfire Warden, a ranger in relentless pursuit of devilish justice. The battle between them lasted for days, shaking the foundations of hell itself. In the end, Zorvexus fell, not by steel, but by hellfire magic known as the scythe of perdition, which severed his soul from his body. With his death, the fiend’s armies scattered, and his name became a whispered warning to all who sought to defy the infernal hierarchy.

Vaelthorian did not leave the battlefield empty-handed. He pried the pit fiend’s massive skull from its ruined form, entrusting it to the hands of smiths who dared to forge it into a helmet of legend. Now, the Helm of the Hell Tyrant lies forgotten, carrying within it the last embers of Zorvexus’s power, awaiting a wearer to claim its infernal might.
