(POLL) Age of Samurai Subclass Vote
The April–June 5E theme is Age of Samurai! I’ll be designing a minimum of (2) Age of Samurai subclasses per month (mixed in with other 5E releases and non themed subclasses). Which classes do you want to see have a subclass designed around Japanese folklore/literature?
After we lock in official classes, I'll hold a second vote for Gamingbrew classes (cursed, spellbinder, witch, etc.)

Artificer Shinobi could be good. And historically accurate, many of their tools were repurposed farmers gear and their techniques were tricks and deceptions meant to appear magical. Things like the black eggs, duplication, and more.
To add to comment above about the bard, they could also possibly use calligraphy magic using art or writing characters.
The Barbarian Samurai evokes the Testubo wielding warriors The Druid would be neat to have Longsword proficiency and longbow proficiency. Reminds me of a samurai tending a garden, trimming a bonsai tree. Better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war. Bard would also be pretty neat with poetry and oration focus while also being a duelist.
I think an Oni Warlock, similar to hexblade, could be a very cool spin on this
