Baby arc better than Daima but outside of that GT stinks. Has some good moments in shadow dragon arc and peak ending.

Wait did you guys post a full uncut to this as well?? Been a while since I’ve rewatched it from start to finish and wanted to rewatch along RTTV.

So glad you guys are starting GT, it is such a better continuation than daima and super. They really had great callbacks to the original db and dbz, some of the coolest power ups, and actual dialogue and plot.

Excellent work on honoring Toriyama on the anniversary of his passing by comparing something he was hardly involved in to a series he was directly involved in that was a culmination of all of his projects

For nostalgia, I get why people say it’s better than Daima. The theme song, the transformations especially Super Saiyan 4 and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, they were great. But some of the story was unnecessary and felt weird. It was all over the place, even characters being nerfed like crazy for no reason. GT had its moments, but the stories and characters needed work. As a child, they were the best. But now as an adult, I see they had problems in different arcs and shit didn’t make sense. As someone who enjoys the lore and backstories of Dragonball and its characters to the fullest, I’d say Daima and Super are better with character development and story progression. Goku’s SSJ4 is cool, but I love the Daima version WAY better.

Agreed. While I’ve been enjoying Daima and R.I.P Akira Toriyama—who actually passed on this very day 1 week before it was made public news on March 7th: This was more original and with greater substance.

Yessss 🔥 I like Daima but this was such an underrated , over hated gem to me. Can’t wait to enjoy this ride again 💪🏾
