Final Fight AE Patreon Name Beta and Street Fighter Alpha 3 CE Public Release!

We've got two announcements for our patrons and the community at large today.

First, we are publicly releasing Street Fighter Alpha 3 Challenger's Edition for all platforms! This hack was recently featured at this year's CEO fighting game tournament in Daytona. You can find the relevant IPS or MRA files here:

Second, and what people have been waiting expectantly for, we have reached the "final" beta for FFAE CPS2! We managed to squeeze several enhancements into the beta while waiting for Patreon name surveys to be returned.

The PRESS START, CONTINUE, INSERT COIN and other large graphics shown during game play have been redone to better fit the 3 player layout!

Bosses have received their own sets of custom palettes which pair incredibly with the Patreon name feature!

The attract mode demo sequences have been reconfigured to allow demos with all three players, and the demos themselves have been re-recorded to reflect this! 

And of course it wouldn't be the Patreon Name Beta without the long promised feature: every enemy and boss you encounter is randomly assigned the name of one of our Patreon supporters! And of course, this feature can be switched off in the options menu if you want to play with the classic names.

To round out this excellent release we have also rebalanced the sound effects and music levels to better emphasize the amazing new stereo sound effects!

Our patrons can access the installation files via our Discord and a public release of FFAE will come later in the year.
