1. An author to read: A fellow who has been called "The Polish Poe", Stefan Grabinski (paid link)

A relatively obscure horror author, Stefan Grabinski, was active in the first part of the 20th century and obsessed with the occult.

This is a short story collection (Demon ruchu) that seems to have a railroad theme.

2. 14 Haunting Places in Literature

Many places on this list definitely worth visiting.

3. Bravo’s 100 Scariest Movie Moments

I used to love watching this as a kid.

4. The Origins of Folk Horror

Interesting video tracing back the history of the genre.

5. Test Dept.

Some good ol’ industrial from 1980's London.

Feels like the British version of 'Einsturzende Neubauten'.

Dead Flamingos

A common Floridian occurrence this season.
