I just watched the review of Dead End and now I can’t wait to read it . I have been in a reading “slump” or pause of sorts mostly focused on audiobooks lately but this short book may get me back into reading regularly. I have discovered new authors and enjoyed many hours of reading some worthwhile books that I probably wouldn’t have heard about otherwise without Better than Food book reviews. Among my favorites are serotonin by michel houellebecq, nightmare alley by William Lindsay Gresham, hard rain falling by don carpenter, and the peregrine by j.a. Baker. Also plan to pickup last exit to Brooklyn by Selby soon which also seems right down my alley
Excellent choices, so glad you're enjoying the show. Hope you love 'Dead End'!
